Building Skills forGreater Independence

Community-Based Rehabilitation Services (CBRS) help children and adults learn or relearn practical skills that support everyday life. The goal is to help people build the practical skills needed for greater independence at home and in the community.

Leyline Advocates has provided CBRS since 2005, making it one of the organization’s longest-standing behavioral health services. Today, children and adults throughout Boise and the Treasure Valley can receive CBRS in the office, at home, or in the community.

What CBRS Can Include

Community-Based Rehabilitation Services focus on developing and strengthening practical life skills. Depending on an individual’s needs, services may include support with:

  • Activities of daily living
  • Budgeting and financial management
  • Relearning social skills
  • Developing coping skills
  • Building greater independence at home and in the community

CBRS may be provided in our Boise office, in a client’s home, or within the community.
